If you take time to review her portfolio, you will see, as we did, that her ability to capture "real moments" in a candid style is masterful. This goes far beyond the "photojournalistic" approach, because her shots encompass emotion that many practitioners of this style somehow seem not to "get". For example, many "photojournalistic" photographers shoot with lots of cool crops and special effects, but these often overwhelm the simplicity of the captured moment.
